One of the founders of the Periscope, jazz club and creative artistic scene in Lyon, France.
Pierre Dugelay has been at the origin of various cultural projects. In 2002, he founded the Summertime festival, which combines music, space and images for 5 years.
In 2004, he participated in the creation of the Grolektif, a musicians' collective for which he served as coordinator and administrator. In parallel to the accompaniment of creations and tours, he developed this project which was an important player on the French jazz scene until 2018. From 2006 to 2017, he also managed the Internet development activity of Hurleur
Media that he created after his studies at the School of Fine Arts in Grenoble.
In 2007, he was one of the founders of the Periscope and held the position of treasurer before taking over its management and programming. These functions have led him to participate in various national and international networks and federations in which he has been able to discuss the challenges of the production and distribution of contemporary innovative music today. He is a active member of the EJN and vice-president of AJC.
He recently obtained the "Host Entrepreneur" label and the financing of a Europe Creative project by EU project, combining his skills entrepreneurial cross-functional skills and knowledge of project organization and management national and European cultural institutions, with the aim of creating an economic cluster and artistic linked to a business incubator.
