Dehany is an independent writer based in London, reviewing live jazz and contemporary art and performance (Regular correspondent for FAD Magazine and LondonJazz, Jazzwise, East End Review, International Times, ArtFund, POSTmatter, After Nyne, Life As A Human, West End Wilma, Dark Mountain).
Dehany wrote 700 haiku in two years (A Haiku A Day), 50 art writing pieces in a year (Fig-2), and 29 plays in a month (29 Plays Later).
His work has been performed on stage (The Space Theatre), on film (collaborations with Tom Elkins) and on radio (Resonance 104.4fm and BBC 6 Music).
