Open panel discussion on the Birmingham jazz ecology with key figures of local scene including promoters and members of a pioneering Birmingham City University research group. This workshop aims at interacting with the dynamics of other scenes in Europe. What makes a scene ? How does it evolve and what are the tools to strengthen cooperation ?
