We Insist! Social Inclusion through Creative Music

Social Inclusion workshop for EJN and JC delegates only

We Insist! Social Inclusion through Creative Music

We will be looking at the demographics of our city and discussing whether our programmes are representative of this. Where are the areas of deprivation? What are the challenges faced in these areas?

There will also be a presentation by Jazz Programme Manager Mary Wakelam-Sloan of Jazzlines Talent Development and a films of key talent development projects, the Jazzlines Summer School and Generation Ladywood.

As an added bonus this roundtable will be taking place on an iconic Birmingham Canal Boat and we will be taking a short trip along Birmingham’s canal network.
